Thaddeus is quite fascinated with cities and their ability to connect people, and is a proponent of leveraging investments both in the built environment and socioeconomic inclusion to improve the lives of all individuals. He joined Living Cities in 2019 as Senior Investment Associate and supports the investment origination and fund management efforts for impact investments through its Catalyst Funds.
Thaddeus previously worked in the structured finance group for CapitalSource Bank, where he was focused on structuring/underwriting new loan originations, syndications, and leading due diligence/transaction management efforts for the firm’s commercial real estate lending platform. At Pensam Capital, a real estate private equity firm, he was responsible for sourcing/structuring acquisitions and structured equity/debt investment opportunities for Pensam’s investment funds. Additionally, Thaddeus began his career with CNL Financial Group, a private investment management firm focused on domestic commercial real estate acquisitions and fund management.
Thaddeus is a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism, an organization focused on human-centric/sustainable urban design with a focus on placemaking. Thaddeus holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree from Georgetown University, where he completed a graduate thesis on the impact of autonomous vehicles on the built environment.
