Thaddeus is quite fascinated with cities and their ability to connect people, and is a proponent in leveraging investments both in the built environment and in socio-economic inclusion to improve the lives of all individuals.
Thaddeus previously worked in the structured finance group for CapitalSource Bank, where he was focused on structuring and underwriting new transactions, syndications, and due diligence/transaction management for the companies’ commercial real estate lending platform. At Pensam Capital, a real estate private equity firm, Thaddeus was responsible for acquisitions, structured equity/debt investments, and asset management for a $100MM equity fund. Additionally, Thaddeus began his career working in acquisitions and debt capital markets for CNL Financial Group, a real estate investment trust focused on domestic commercial real estate acquisitions and fund management.
Thaddeus is a member of the Congress of New Urbanism an organization focused on human-centric/sustainable urban design and the development of places which connect people. Thaddeus received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Real Estate with a focus on development from Georgetown University, where he completed a graduate thesis on the impact of autonomous vehicles on the built environment.
