Growing up in San Francisco, Sabrina was witness to a wide variety of people and personalities, and has continually maintained a passion for supporting community outreach projects. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in film studies, she spent over eight years working in youth development projects.
Between October 2010 and April 2011 she coordinated San Francisco State University’s YouthWorking to Teacher Pathway program. The project aimed to provide support to at-risk college students, guiding them along the path of becoming teachers in low-income areas. For nearly three years thereafter she was the Program Manager for California Teacher Pathway, which also provided support to low-income students seeking to teach in their community.
