Robert’s background is in survey research, data analysis, and program evaluation. He has research and evaluation experience in a number of areas, including early childhood education, community health, and capacity building.

Robert currently works on several projects related to postsecondary access and completion, including the implementation of two U.S. Department of Labor-funded Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training grants. He also works with the Arizona College Access Network to develop a self-assessment tool that operationalizes a set of student success standards to be used by practitioners. In addition, he is working with Living Cities on its City Accelerator project, an initiative to spark innovation in municipal government.

Prior to joining Equal Measure, Robert was an intern at Abt SRBI, where he supported questionnaire development and data analysis for public transportation surveys for the U.S. Department of Transportation and numerous state transportation agencies. Before that, he was an Emerging Scholar at the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy, where he co-authored a report on immigrant legal aid organizations. He has interned at several large nonprofit organizations, including United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, Public Health Management Corporation, Consumer Reports, and the Smithsonian Institution.
