With an extensive background in finance, administration and operations, David has worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations and associations in New England and New York.

David Lafleur is the Chief Administrative Officer of the National Basketball Players Association Foundation, where he develops and implements forward looking strategies and operations as the organization seeks news opportunities to complement and strengthen the charitable work of NBA players and the NBPA.

David was formerly the Director of Finance and Administration at Living Cities, where he was responsible for managing and developing financial, administrative and other internal functions to support the growth of Living Cities.

Prior to joining Living Cities, David was Vice President at Jewelers of America, the association representing the nation’s retail jewelry industry. There David was responsible for the group’s member services, education, government relations, and consumer outreach activities, as well as finance and administration functions. A native of Massachusetts, David has lived in Brooklyn for more than 12 years.
