The Ohio Partnership
Living Cities’ partnerships with select states are a critical part of The American City Agenda. In these states, we work directly with the governor and the mayor of a major city to align policy and implement an integrative strategy. In May 2008, Living Cities launched a partnership with the state of Ohio. State and local officials, key community groups, local philanthropies, and representatives from Living Cities have charted an ambitious path that cuts across traditional policy categories, spans the full range of government agencies and harnesses the collective power of the public, private and philanthropic sectors.
