Kimberly joins Living Cities from the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) where she successfully implemented and managed career advancement programs designed to achieve economic security for low-income residents in New York City. The programs are a part of Mayor Bloomberg’s Center for Economic Opportunity which seeks to reduce the number of people living in poverty in New York City through the implementation of result-driven and innovative initiatives. Prior to SBS, Kimberly worked at Public Interest Projects assisting large and small foundations develop funding strategies and provided strategic direction, grant management, and administrative support to the Ottinger Foundation and the Funders’ Collaborative for Racial Justice. She began her career in Washington DC at the Campaign for America’s Future, an advocacy organization working to shape a progressive agenda addressing the needs of working families. She received her B.A. in political science from the George Washington University and her Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
