Before becoming president of the Cleveland Foundation, Mr. Richard was chief operating officer and managing partner of In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capital fund. He has also served as president of Panasonic Home & Commercial Products Company, a major sales and marketing division of Panasonic USA. Mr. Richard holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and a master’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University.
